e-Driver – Application Form – VLE SCORM Links

Road Safety Week, organised by ‘Brake’, the road safety charity, is the UK's biggest road safety event, involving thousands of schools, organisations and community groups every year.

‘e-Driver’, for young drivers and their passengers is  FREE-OF-CHARGE as open-source interactive VLE e-Learning and may be used in conjunction with Road Safety Week 23rd - 29th November.

With complete ‘off-the-shelf’ indicative content, and with software marking formative and summative assessments, NO TUTOR PREPARATION OR MARKING is required.

Measurable outcomes allow reports for SMT and Ofsted to be generated automatically.

For this initiative SCORM compliant software is provided free-of-charge for the college Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) (e.g. Moodle/Blackboard/Frog etc.) and allows unrestricted access to all learners and staff at all campuses of the college, at outreach centres and at partner schools.

This one-hour one-module programme has ‘off-the-shelf’ indicative content, and the software marks multiple choice tests at the end of each module, therefore NO TUTOR PREPARATION AND TUTOR MARKING is required.

The programme counts towards the requirements of FELTAG, evidencing self-directed independent interactive e-Learning with measurable outcomes via a complete audit trail of all learner activity, progress and achievement, recorded on the VLE.
