ROAD SAFETY WEEK
Road Safety Week is the UK's biggest road safety event, coordinated annually by Brake, the road safety charity.
Road Safety Week aims to inspire thousands of schools, organisations and communities to take action on road safety and promote life-saving messages during the Week and beyond. It also provides a focal point for professionals working in road safety to boost awareness and engagement in their work.

E-DRIVER
E-DRIVER is a TES Award Nominated course for new drivers and their passengers devised by Direct Learning and the following organisations:
Hereford Sixth Form College
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue
West Mercia Police
Sadly, drivers aged 17-24 are the most likely to be injured or die in road traffic accidents. This programme identifies the causes and raises awareness of the dangers.
Passengers, particularly young females, need to be more assertive and this programme helps them with the techniques needed to protect themselves and be more aware of the risks they take with young drivers.
This programme was piloted with learners at Hereford Sixth-Form College and following the feedback from over 800 learners it was decided to offer this programme as 'open source' making it available to all schools and colleges nationally.
The module has ‘OFF-THE-SHELF’ content, and software marks a multiple choice tests at the end of the module, thus NO PREPARATION, NO TEACHING AND NO MARKING is required. The module requires c. 60 mins to complete. MEASURABLE OUTCOMES mean SMT and Ofsted reports can be generated automatically.
