United Nations Day is devoted to making known to people of the world the aims and achievements of the United Nations Organization which include a global commitment to fulfil the great promise of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

INTRODUCTION TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

In relation to this initiative ‘Introduction to Environmental Sustainability’ is available for use cross-college and for CPD. The module introduces learners to the following:

  • Balance of Nature

  • World Food Programme

  • Excess Consumption

  • ‘Three Planet Lifestyle’

  • Eco Footprint

  • Sustainable Communities

  • Climate Change

  • Carbon Footprint

The module has ‘OFF-THE-SHELF’ content, and software marks a multiple choice test at the end of the module, thus NO PREPARATION, NO TEACHING AND NO MARKING is required. The module requires 20-25mins to complete. MEASURABLE OUTCOMES mean SMT and Ofsted reports can be generated automatically.

AIM L1 AWARD IN ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY (Ofqual No. 600/5653/8)

‘Introduction to Environmental Sustainability’ is the first module of AIM L1 Award in Environmental Sustainability which is generously funded by ESFA. Modules in this qualification include:
